Original score for the Podcast Academy Award-nominated, 13-episode, full-cast audio drama series from Realm.fm and Packhowl Media. 

The Madness of Chartrulean takes place on the fictional planet Arcas, a world facing food scarcity, political infighting, and the threat of alien incursion. But it’s all part of the Starmakers’ grand design — until Chartrulean, the promised messiah, abandons piety for progress and becomes a shipbuilder instead. With his discovery of a new form of energy with the potential to be weaponized, he ends a war and becomes the most powerful man on Arcas. His actions usher in a new technological era that rekindles hope for humanity while also deepening political and religious divides. Chartrulean’s journey is deeply personal, as he struggles with identity, leadership, and the weight of his choices.

The Madness of Chartrulean was composed using a combination of string quartet (recorded with the Invoke String Quartet from Austin, TX), analog synthesizers, orchestral recordings processed with granular synthesis and pitch-shifting techniques, and virtual orchestral and synthesizer instruments.
